Excess of everything is bad. 

Story

In a distant village, lived a little glutton who was fond of eating sweets, candy and fried snacks. One day, he found an old magnifying glass in his backyard. He showed it to his mother and asked if he could keep it. As he liked it very much, the mother agreed and he kept the magnifying glass for himself. He saw a little ant and decided to use the glass to look at it. It was great! The ant looked huge. But as he took the glass away from ant, something odd happened. The ant remained of the same size that it looked through the magnifying glass. 

The boy was awestruck. He kept trying it again and again on anything and everything that excited him. Full of excitement and surprise, boy kept doing the same and everything that the boy looked at got bigger and stayed big.

The Madhyamika karika testifies to the historicity to their author Nagarjuna the great Buddhist philosopher who extolled the path of Prajnaparamita.He wrote the Karika in order to expound the basic teaching of the Prajnaparamita-sutras.The recent archaeological discoveries at Amaravati corroborate to certain extent the broad facts about Nagarjuna life on which his traditional biographies agree.He was born in a Brahmin family in Andhradesa at Vedali.Based on the Chinese author Tao-an (AD 568) and Kumarjivas account and his date for Buddha nirvana and other material of a Japanese Scholar Hakaju concluded that Nagarjuna lived about 113-213 AD.

Former Indian captain Mohammed Azharuddin on Friday lashed out at Vinod Kambli for hinting that India's 1996 World Cup semifinal match could have been fixed, saying the allegations have been made by a person who lacks character and were "absolutely rubbish".

"Absolutely rubbish, whatever he (Kambli) is talking. He doesn't know what he is talking, when you have people who have no character and no background come on TV and talk absolute rubbish in front of the nation and demeaning all the players who played in the team, it is totally disrespectful and its very sad," a livid Azhar told reporters.

Azhar, who was the Indian captain at that time, said the decision to field first was a collective decision. "May be when he was sitting in the meeting, he must have been sleeping," he added.

Kambli, a former Indian cricketer who has often been embroiled in controversies both on and off the field, on Thursday raised suspicion on the 1996 World Cup semifinal between India and Sri Lanka and said he found "something amiss" in the game.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.
This year CBSE will conduct CTET in online mode also apart from the regular paper pencil mode. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) shall be held on January 29 this year. 
In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) had vide Notification dated August 23, 2010 and July 29, 2011 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII.

It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.

Application can be submitted online from November 1 to 25.     Payment of fee could be made by demand draft or credit/debit card.

The cost of information bulletin inclusive of examination fees for TET is Rs.500 for General/OBC category and RS 250 for SC/ST/Differently Abled.

UPPSC Indianisation of the superior Civil Services became one of the major demands of the political movement compelling the British Indian Government to consider setting up of a Public Service Commission for recruitment to its services in the territory.The first Public Service Commission was set up on October 1st, 1926.However its limited advisory functions failed to satisfy the people aspirations and the continued stress on this aspect by the leaders of our freedom movement resulted in the setting up of the Federal Public Service Commission under the Government of India Act 1935.Under this Act for the first time provision was also made for the formation of Public Service Commissions at the provincial level.

As a consequence the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission was constituted on the 1st of April 1937 with its headquarters at Allahabad and has a glorious past of more than 60 years.At the time of its inception The UP Public Service Commission was situated in a few rooms in the then Secretariat but now apart from a lavish campus at Allahabad it has a Camp Office in the state capital Lucknow as well.In 1937 only 9,811 applications were disposed and over the years the quantum of work has increased manifold with the disposal of a few lakh applications every year now.
